No matter how you look at it, we are living in unprecedented times.

There is so much shaking and tension taking place all across the globe right now. And yet, the Spirit of God is moving among his people in new ways. I feel strongly that we have reached a kairos moment—an opportune, God-appointed moment in time. I believe it is time for us to rise up, take a stand on God’s Word, and partner with heaven’s agenda to bring reformation to society and revival to our land!

As followers of Christ, we are “the salt of the earth,” meaning that we are to season society with the values of the kingdom.

“Your lives are like salt among the people. But if you, like salt, become bland, how can your ‘saltiness’ be restored? Flavorless salt is good for nothing and will be thrown out and trampled on by others.”

Matthew 5:13 TPT

Church, we have come to a crucial crossroads. November 3 is fast approaching, and with it the US presidential election.

There is a battle going on for the soul of America. I believe this is the most important election because so much is at stake when we cast our ballots this year. It may be hard to fathom, but one third of evangelicals in America are not even registered to vote. Meanwhile, the fundamental liberties that make our nation what it is today are being challenged by dangerous ideologies like Marxism. We are living in a time where the decisions that our commander in chief makes will have an enormous effect on our families, communities, and nation for years to come.

Now is the time for us as God’s people to take action and defend biblical family values in America.

“Your people will be your love offerings.
In the day of your mighty power you will be exalted,
and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine
as an army arising from the womb of the dawn,
anointed with the dew of your youth!”

Psalm 110:3 TPT

God recently spoke to me, prompting me to launch a new pro-life movement called 1RACE4LIFE. 1RACE4LIFE is an apostolic network of ethnically and culturally diverse pro-life Evangelical leaders committed to seeing the end of abortion on a local, state, and national level. In this movement we are passionate about saying, “All lives are sacred, including those of the unborn.”

Three primary purposes are woven into the 1RACE4LIFE mission:

1: To unite all races and cultures within the body of Christ. We believe the church has the solution for racial and biblical injustice. 1RACE4LIFE will serve to unite all members of the church, including Black, Latinx, Asians, and people of all races and ethnicities, in a unified stand for life.

“And we no longer see each other in our former state—Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor, male or female—because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ with no distinction between us.”

Galatians 3:28 TPT

2: To recruit a new generation of believers to be educated and activated to vote pro-life. Every day, 365 abortions take place in California. That is a total of 133,000 annually, making California the number one abortion state in the US. No matter which state you live in, we cannot be passive about this issue.

“You saw who you created me to be before I became me!
Before I’d ever seen the light of day,
the number of days you planned for me
were already recorded in your book.”

3: To mobilize people to register to vote and make the pledge to always vote pro-life—starting with the 2020 election.

“Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance, for how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”

All of us who belong to the family of God need to covenant to be Spirit-led activists. During the months of September and October, I set apart time to travel to the key battleground states and speak at as many churches as I can to mobilize young people to vote pro-life. I want to really encourage you to do your part in Spirit-led activism as well.

What is the Holy Spirit asking you to do in this season?

Within the context of your specific sphere of influence, I commission you to take action! That might include: (1) Making sure you are registered to vote. (2) Mobilizing people in your church to vote biblically. (3) Joining me in 1RACE4LIFE and starting to mobilize young people to vote pro-life. (You can find out more at www.1race4life.org.)

In whatever ways the Spirit is moving you, I pray for an impartation of boldness and courage, that you would take a radical stand for the truth of God’s Word and advance his kingdom in the power of Jesus’ name!

In the final days leading up to the election, I want to invite you to pray and fast for our nation. Here are five prayer points you can use, both individually and especially when agreeing in prayer with your family, friends, and church members:

1. Pray for the church to carry God’s heart for the unborn and vote pro-life in the 2020 election. 
2. Pray for the unity of all races and cultures in the body of Christ as we respond to our God-given call to be reformers and agents of reconciliation.
3. Pray for the youth of our nation to be educated and activated to vote biblically and take a stand for the truth of God’s Word.
4. Pray for an impartation of boldness and courage as we advance God’s kingdom in this hour.
5. Pray for a great harvest of souls to come into the kingdom of God and for a spiritual awakening to sweep across America.
